When the original Inn opened in 1926 it was born out of need and a partnership between St. Clair’s wealthiest residents and the local Rotary Club. It became a destination for the city’s residents and for vacationers hosting celebrities, secret parties at the height of Prohibition, and, once, 12 weddings in a single weekend. Every stay has a story. We look forward to adding your story to our history.
